Katrine Spang-Hanssen is one the world's premier female jugglers. She toured the world for over 13 years with her own comedy juggling act, Grinn & Barrett, opening for such stars as Kenny Rodgers, Willie Nelson, Natalie Cole and Barbara Mandrell. She has made a number of television and film appearances worldwide, along with performances at comedy clubs, fairs, festivals, colleges and theater productions. Among the corporate clients who have used Katrine's services are Microsoft, Compaq, Oracle, IBM, Intel, Veritas, Volkswagen and Kellogg's.

Katrine grew up in Denmark where universal healthcare, government-sponsored higher education, and speaking multiple languages are considered normal. She moved to the US when she was 20 and is only now recovering from the culture shock.

Katrine is Comedy Industries' resident polyglot: she speaks English, Danish, French, German, Norse, and Swedish! She has also performed numerous times in Japan, in Japanese, a language she does not speak, where she got big laughs, mostly for her creative pronunciation. Her ability with languages is partly due to her ability to memorize quickly, an asset with scripts, music, languages and grocery lists.

Katrine is a master of juggling, unicycling, ball-spinning and whip-cracking. She is also a professional drummer, and plays with several jazz and pop ensembles around the Bay Area.
