| Sara
Felder is an accomplished juggler and performer,
as well as an award-winning playwright. Her plays
"Beyond Brooklyn", "The Lady Upstairs"
and "June Bride" have toured the US
and earned ra\ve reviews including:
"Calling
Sara Felder a juggler is a little like referring
to Michelangelo as that guy who painted ceilings."
- Bay Area Reporter
"Stunning...
There were so many moments of emotional depth
laced with humor that one couldn't begin to tell
them all... After three curtain calls, the audience
finally let her go." - Eureka Times-Standard
"Dazzling.
Keen social satire. Felder's comedy, which details
her hilariously troublesome preparations for her
wedding is a veritable tribute to family values."
- L.A. Times
"A
master of comic timing." - S.F. Bay Guardian
When
she is not performing, Sara plays with her baby
son Jesse, teaches in the theater department at
San Francisco State University, and practices
her klezmer clarinet. She has juggled for peace
in Cuba and Nicaragua (where she became fluent
in Spanish) and for old Jews in Joel Grey's Borscht
Belt Follies. Her Yiddish is flawless. So nu?
You would expect less of such a shayne baleboosteh?
